Inky Cap mushrooms (Coprinopsis atramentaria) is a fungus found in Europe & North America. It starts as a small white mushroom cap and starts to turn black and ooze as it ages. The black oozing "ink" is the way the spores spread.
I combined the inky cap mushroom with a classic yet elegant quartz stem for a simple & beautiful pairing. The dangling black gems represent the oozing spores falling from the cap!
